2016 New Year Resolutions

15:24 Unknown 0 Comments

2015 was a great year, where many things have happened. However, I, as everyone should, am going to put effort into making 2016 an even better year, so here I share with you my new year resolutions.
I had intended to put them on a youtube video, but the circumstances didn't allow me to. (You can always check my last video ;) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=AiN7jXNBFdU ).

Health: I don't usually eat that much unhealthy food, but, I tend to skip meals, or not drink enough water. I am also quite lazy, especially during the Winter, to do things such as exfoliate, or moisturizemy skin. I am determined to change these aspects, even if it's in small steps at a time.

Time management- One thing that I do, and really need to stop is procastinating. Because that does not only reflect on my school grades, but also on my hobbies, such as this blog and youtube. This January, I will buy a planner, so that I can plan things ahead, and manage my time.

YouTube and Blog- Earlier this year I have started these two things, because I felt the need to express my creativity in any sort of way. I also wanted to share my knowledge about the things I'm passionate about with the world. I didn't upload regularly, and that is something I really want to change, as doing this is something I really love.

These are my resolutions for the upcoming year, which, hopefully I can tick at the end of next year, and I wish you all the best for 2016.

Lazy make-up routine

22:21 Unknown 0 Comments

Dear readers,

Do you know those days when you feel extremely lazy, yet you feel the need to have a fresh and awaken face? Well, I do, and so, I wanted to share with you my make-up routine for when that is the case.
I am someone who is driven by impulse, therefore I don't actually have just one single routine for my everyday. In the morning, depending on how I feel, or even if I only have a leture, or also have a presentation, do I decide what kind of make-up to wear. In the future want to share with you my other 5000 make up routines, so hopefully this is the beginning of a series.
In a post I made a couple of weeks ago I showed you my tiny make-up collection, so you probably already know that pretty much of my products are from high street shops, such as Boots.

What I got for my birthday

14:17 Unknown 0 Comments

As you may or may not know (probably the second option), last Monday was my 18th birthday.
In celebration of that historical moment, today I will present you with what I received.

Olaf pyjamas from Primark. Literally the most comfy and soft thing ever.

Butterbear bath bomb from Lush, which I look forward to try, as the only product I've ever tried from them was the Bubble bar.

Black is black perfume and body lotion. It has quite a strong scent, but smells so good (!!!).

A hug mug with two loving teddy bears, which is the cutest thing ever, perfect for my early morning tea.

Leather gloves from Tie Rack. A must to survive the Winter in the freezing lands of Her Majesty.

£10 gift card in H&M, which is driving me insane, as I can't make up my mind on what to spend it on.

Christmas spirit has arrived

22:46 Unknown 0 Comments

Christmas is the time to sit by the fireplace, wrapped in a blanket drinking hot chocolate. It is the time  for massive shopping sprees, the time for John Lewis' touching commercials. But most of all, it is the time to celebrate love, joy, and cherish the ones we're surrounded by.
This season is by far my favourite of the entire year. The ambience of the decorated streets, the Christmas carols... Just the thought of it evokes feelings of warmth and happiness.
I just wanted to share my thoughts on Christmas with you, so that we can all feel joy. I'll leave you with some images to light up the Christmas spirit inside you.

My tiny makeup collection

19:24 Unknown 0 Comments

Everyone who knows me, knows that I am a self-proclaimed MUA (makeup addict), despite being too lazy to wear it every single day. When I moved to London, I couldn't bring most of my makeup with me, so my collection became rather small. However, to be fair, makeup is possibly the thing I bought the most since I got here. Apart from some products that were offered to me, most of the makeup I buy is from high street shops, such as Boots, as I find it really hard to spend over a certain amount of money.

These brushes are very similar to Real Techniques' Bold Metals Collection, which I bought from Amazon for £15. Their quality is amazing value for the price. The bristles are extremely soft, and they do not hurt your skin.

20:24 Unknown 0 Comments

Hello lovely people,

My name is Telma, and I just moved from Portugal to London to study Economics. Being a small town girl, this transition has been quite overwhelming. I decided to create this blog to share my experience with you, as well as talk to you about all the things that I am passionate about (mostly makeup).
Hope you stay tuned, and see you soon.

Lots of love,
Telma
